Made Better Learning
Made Better Learning is a suite of scientifically grounded modules designed to help people strengthen their emotional competencies. We provide a range of modules that will help people to better understand themselves and manage their own responses. They will also improve their awareness of others and achieve better outcomes from their interactions with others.
If you were asked to tell someone who you are, what stories would you share that demonstrate the richness and remarkableness of who are? Most of us have edited a version of our life story that we tend to share over and over again. Sometimes, we may feel that some of our stories are not to be shared and need to be hidden away from public consumption. We can have ‘private’ problem stories: the places where we feel stuck, as if our life story stalled or failed somehow. Often, we can feel very alone and separate from others because of the problem stories that travel with us and may be hidden away by us. These are the stories that can feel all-consuming at times and cause us to feel trapped in a pattern, restraining our potential because of something that happened in the past or something we believe is a flawed part of who we are.
We also have stories of hope and success that amplify our wonderfulness. These stories demonstrate how we can take command of our lives and how we can establish healthy relationships and remain resilient to the challenges of life.

These Inspire Series learning programs have been designed by a narrative practitioner and have been created as part of our Inspire Series. They are focused on the stories we tell ourselves about our life and our identity as we move through the many experiences of life. There are times, when some support and guidance can assist us in finding new meaning or recognising that it is time to let go of less useful patterns. Each of these modules will introduce you to pathways towards preferred stories that can transform your life.
Understanding how the brain works and how you can over-ride habitual neural pathways, helps us to slow down responses to life situations. This is the cornerstone of making changes in our life patterns. These modules examine what it takes to establish a growth mindset and to express yourself authentically, as the best version of ourselves.
Mindsets underpin most of what we do. There is a cognitive and emotional component to mindsets and our associated beliefs are fundamental to our deep seated sense of identity. Recognising these mindsets will assist you in understanding which beliefs may need to be altered; if true change is going to embed in our life patterns.
Remaining resilient during times of change and ambiguity requires not only a true understanding of the stages of transformation, but a selection of useful self-care strategies. These modules work on building awareness, acceptance and practical advice for taking action to facilitate change in our lives and businesses.
Building empathy, appreciating the power of feedback and acknowledging how biases can trick us into old thinking patterns is at the heart of these modules. We can embrace more expansive thinking styles to shift life narratives and experiment with more effective ways of behaving in the world.
As humans we are wired for relationships. Everything in our lives is about being in relationship with others and our environment. Learning better strategies for navigating conflict, finding the patterns in our life and increasing the positive impact we can have on others is fundamental to these modules.
